There are many disorders that a woman can experience in regard to her monthly menstrual cycle. While some can cause some very prominent symptoms, others may not be noticeable at all. It is also possible that the symptoms of these disorders change from one month to another. Three of the most common disorders are amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea and oligomenorrhea.

With amenorrhea, women will not experience a monthly cycle at all. This is a common occurrence when a woman is pregnant or going through menopause, but it can also occur a couple of times throughout the year. However, when a woman misses her monthly cycle for more than one month in a row and is not pregnant, it is best to speak with her doctor.
