For most of us, this is a no brainer, but some people might work in environments where they are exposed to toxic chemicals without even knowing it. Chemicals can damage the health and quality of the egg and can really have a negative impact on fertility.

Tip #2: Eat A Fertility Diet

When you want to get pregnant, you have to eat for it. Trans fats and chemically processed foods can damage your egg quality and make it harder to conceive. When you are trying to conceive, make sure to to eat as well as possible.

Try to choose organic whenever you can, and avoid processed foods, chemically laden choices, and empty calories. It is important to eat as many lean organic meats, whole grains, low fat dairy products, and of course, fresh fruits and vegetables as possible.

Tip #3: Ask About Supplements

There are several different nutritional supplements on the market today that experts recommend to improve egg health. Some of the most common ones include fish oil, Co q10, Inositol, DHEA, and melatonin.

All of these supplements have been shown to improve egg quality and therefore help to increase the chances of getting pregnant.  You should, of course, always ask your doctor before using any nutritional supplements.

Tip #4: Rid Yourself Of Chemicals

Many women swear that their improvement in egg quality was thanks to removing chemicals from their homes, namely their kitchens. Many women swear that they improved their fertility by removing plastics from their homes, including drink ware, food storage containers, plates, cups, etc. This is because many plastics contain chemicals like BPA and others which can damage fertility.

Also, many women think that removing traditional chemical based cleaning products from their homes has helped them to improve their egg quality as well. Instead of using chemical cleaners, many women choose to switch over to more natural cleaning products like baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice.
